Dr. Nelson Harrison holds a Ph. D. in clinical psychology and is a renown educator, composer, archivist, lyricist, arranger, playwright, speaker, and photographer. He is a veteran trombonist of the Count Basie Orchestra and has worked with countless other artists. He is the inventor of the “trombetto” and remains very active in Pittsburgh’s music scene.
